it's been long since i last ran that much. went to help out for gauntlet yesterday, was fun but simply tiring. facilitated Di Stefano, the purple group (: ( kr, lorena, xiang, gen, bing, melissa) .i was actually warned way before hand that i had to be prepared to run and they wished me luck since i was in that group. it wasnt bad, just probably ran a few kilometres if you add up the distance of vj to tanah merah, downtown east to pasir ris park playground, suntec to sultan mosque, and from school busstop to vj. hahah, but it was fun nevertheless, quite an experience! ah wells, still very happy for them(: from being the last group to reach all the stations including the last, we at least managed to catch up and emerged third (: yay! all the huffing&puffing was paid off!
hmm, and CONGRATULATIONS to all for receiving the team jerseys.! really excited for them as they really deserve to be part of the team and they shall persevere and fight as one team! as each one of them went up to receive their jerseys, especially j1s, i could sense their excitement and honour of being part of the team. it was really a sight to behold, and i really wish them all the luck i can give to everyone of them for the upcoming season. i would be always watching them from the sidelines (:
had a short talk with coach. i really am deeply thankful and grateful for coach assuring me that i am always more than welcome to come down anytime. even sometimes to just kick around. moreover, letting me own a jersey too(: i just can't express how thankful i am! well, i too also want to let vjsg know that the reason i didnt join sa soccer was because i truly believed in the team and there's really no point in me joining another team when my heart truely only feels for another. And to never give up when the going gets tough, cause there are people around such as i who will never give up hope on you guys! since i can't contribute in any way to the team, the most and best that i can do is to support you all.
as much as i love the sport, i can always still play it anytime, even with church peeps. so not all is lost and to me, god have been really good to me given my present situation i am in.
