yesterday was the real official testimonial match!
i had lots of fun playing with the team. played for the seniors (j2s) as there were short of numbers and we won the j1s 4-0 (:
it was physically tiring playing centre back. the first half was not good for me, was being shouted at by mr.l as he guided me where to run and stuff. the field suddenly seems so huge as i had to run so much more than it seems. but it was a good game. the seniors have got their 'revenge' from the previous drawed game of 5 all.
the match was meant to honour the seniors, after the match everybody just started hugging and stuff, you could feel the warmth.
though i have been with the team for just 2 months, it feels as though i have never left. it was an assurance to me that i have made the right decision. and even thouigh i spent less time with the seniors compared to my batch, i still kinda miss them. i can imagine how much the rest of the team feels without them, having gone through so much guidance from them and going through the season together.
though it was only a testiumonial match and its for us to have fun, i learnt quite abit-where to run, maximise the space, supporting your team players and stuff. (:
anyway after the match, stretched and bathed with the seniors while the rest went for a short training. the seniors were so funny. kr was quite high and nat kept playing with the harry potter broom stick and them both started taking 'ah-lian' poses, which kept me laughing.
saw suanne! primary school friend. talked to her for quite abit. we were never close but had so much to talk about! well, she didnt even know that i left vj at all! hahah
had golden pillow (giggles from sab and gen) team lunch in school, shared food with sock and there was elections for the 08/09 batch of excos.

went to esplanade library with gen. goodness, it was freezing cooold! especially after getting a little drenched from the rain.
self-reminder: i must always remember to bring my jacket every single time i go out with gen.
and and i played soccer again today! this time with churchies. i felt so restless and i didnt plaster my feet which left me with blisters ): didnt run much though.
and geylang is seriously an unsafe place!
