take away the hurt in our hearts
teach us to be strong & courageous;
give us the assurance that you're always there
turn frowns into smiles,
sadness into happiness,
& anxiety into ease.
give us the strength to push on,
not to give up &
to be the light of many.
prepare our hearts to receive & to give.
provide us answers to our doubts;
and grant us patience, love, joy & peace.
